Dry Riser Installation in Mansfield for 74-Unit Residential Development
Dry Riser One Ltd was appointed to supply, install, test and commission a new dry riser system in Mansfield, a residential development located in Nottinghamshire. The project required a compliant dry riser installation serving the staircase with one inlet system and three landing valves positioned to support fire service access throughout the building. The works were carried out and completed in accordance with the project requirements, current British Standards and the agreed installation programme. The certificate of compliance was issued and confirms that the system was installed and commissioned in line with BS 9990:2015, with materials conforming to current British Standards.

The original project scope confirmed that Dry Riser One Ltd was responsible for supplying all labour, plant and materials required to install and commission the dry riser system.

Our Dry Riser Installation Process
Before attending site, Dry Riser One Ltd prepared the necessary risk assessment and method statement for the works. The RAMS covered the dry riser installation including access, manual handling, loading and unloading, slips, trips and falls, hand tools, power tools, noise and fire safety controls.
The installation was completed within the staircase area and followed the issued project drawings and agreed specification. The system was installed using three outlet valves (landing valves), brackets, pipework, fittings, 90 degree and 45 degree bends.
Following installation, the dry riser system was tested and commissioned. The pressure test was carried out using a calibrated pressure gauge, helping to verify the integrity and readiness of the installed system before handover.

On completion, Dry Riser One Ltd issued a Certificate of Compliance and the certificate confirms:
